Newest Philippine boxing sensation Rey "Boom-Boom" Bautista will lead the charge for team Philippines as they take on team Mexico in the World Cup of Boxing at the Arco Arena in Sacramento, CA. Bautista will face the very dangerous fighter Daniel Ponce de Leon. The main supporting bout is between Gerry Penalosa vs Jhonny Gonzales.
Other fights include Bert Batawang vs Francisco Rosas, Z Gorres vs Gerson Guerrero, Michael Domingo vs Miguel Roman and AJ Banal vs Eric Ortiz.
This is an HBO After Dark presentation. In the Philippines, you can watch it live on selected cinemas. This fight will be aired on ABS-CBN 2.

Finally. The world will recognize that Philippine boxing is one of the best in the world. i hope that more Pinoy boxers will be given the chance to compete in world championship fights. Congratulations to our Pinoy fighters.
